New RN-to-BSN Program Set to Launch in 2019

A new degree-completion program for nurses with an associate鈥檚 degree will be unveiled in 2019, allowing registered nurses to advance their careers and boost their leadership skills by earning a bachelor of science in nursing degree.
George Fox鈥檚 RN-to-BSN program will combine personal face-to-face monthly seminars with online learning. Courses will be taught by experienced nurses and cover topics that include role transitions in nursing, population health, trends and issues in nursing, and leadership and management.
Like the school鈥檚 nursing major, the 24-credit-hour program will be accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Students will complete the part-time course of study in four semesters, and the hybrid format will allow working professionals to continue in their nursing career while completing the degree.
The program will be taught through the university鈥檚 School of Nursing and feature coursework designed to open doors to greater opportunities within the nursing profession.
